Hello and Welcome to Dillians
Nintendo News Recap.
This week was mostly depressing. Apart
from the bad news about Tokyo Mirage Sessions#FE ther was nothing
interesting and the new releases this week are just... well take a
look yourself.
New Releases:
- Pentapuzzle – Wii-U Download-Software
- Reptilian Rebellion – Wii-U Download-Software
- Pocket Card Jockey – 3DS Download-Software
- Sweetest Thing – Wii-U Download-Software
This is just plain bad. No denying that. None of these games look appealing. Pocket Card Jockey is a game from Game Freak, yes the guys who make Pokemon, but it looks and plays like handy game. Still some reviews of the game make I sound surprisingly entertaining, so maybe some of you will give it a try.
E3:
After the investor
meeting last week, which disappointed many fans, Nintendo now
officially revealed their E3 plans for this week. It is basically
what we already knew (and feared) since last week. There won't be a
Digital Event or any kind of press conference. There also won't be a
Nintendo World Championship or Smash Bros. Tournament like the last
two years. It seems that this things have sadly died together with
Satoru Iwata.
This year there
will be only a presentation of the new Zelda via Nintendo Treehouse
Live, which is not bad, but certainly a step down from the previous
years, where Nintendo showed how a good E3 is done. (Not so much in
terms of games in case of 2015, but their live presentation over the
course of 3 days was always top notch and a joy to watch).
Apart from that
Nintendo will also host an exclusive E3 presentation for their
business partners to highlight their plans for holiday 2016. Nothing
that normal people will be able to watch, but I guess we'll get the
information from that event within a day.

Pokemon:
This
year marks the 20th anniversary of the Pokemon Franchise
and the pinnacle of this celebration will certainly be the launch of
Pokemon Sun/Moon in the fall. But after the announcement of the new
games we had to wait a long time for new information. Luckily the
wait is now over. On the 10th of May we'll finally get a
first glimpse at the newest Pokemon adventure.
If you
signed up for the Pokemon Trainer Club Newsletter I have good news
for you. Keep an eye on your inbox, because soon you'll get three
codes to download the three legendary birds from Generation One onto
one of your Editions of Pokemon X/Y or OR/AS.

Miitomo:
Nintendos first smartphone app still I is a huge success. But one of
the most glaring shortcomings of it was the difficulty to add new
friends. Well soon this won't be a problem any more, because Nintendo
announced that an update for Miitomo will allow players to add
friends via E-mail and other services. The update is scheduled to
release soon.
Splatoon:
As one of Nintendos biggest hits on the Wii-U Splatoon was already
used several times to cross promote other products via Splatfests.
The last saw players battle for Team Patrick or Team Spongebob
because of a collaboration with Nickelodeon. This time the product
promoted comes from inside Nintendo, Miitomo. The question this time
is, do you prefer a stylish gala or a cool costume party?
But that is not all, because we also got a first look at the Squid
Sister Amiibos, which will launch in Europe on the 7th of
July. They both look awesome and if you have a hard time deciding
between them, as I do, then there is good news. There will be a
bundle available, which contains both of them. Also there will be a
limited release of the old Splatoon Amiibos with new color
variations. The prices for the Amiibo will be the same as for others,
with 14,99€ for the single figures and 29,99€ for the Squid
Sisters set, which is strange because it means that the set costs 1
Cent moe than buying both separately.

Bayonetta:
Congratulations to one million sales worldwide. This is a well deserved success for a great Wii-U Game.
Tokyo Mirage Session#FE:
After the bad news about the censorship earlier this day (You can
take a look here:
http://dilliansthoughthub.blogspot.co.at/2016/05/tokyo-mirage-sessionsfe-hidden-boobs.html)
we also got some new gameplay material. And while it won't make the
censorship forgotten, it sill looks like a crazy fun and very
japanese game.
Nintendo:
After the line of Pokomen lingerie from several weeks ago Nintendo
has once again revealed a collaboration for a clothing line. This
time however it's something more fitting (not that I think the
Pokemon lingerie wasn't awesome). Nintendo and Vans have announced a
series of themed footwear, and I must admit that some of them even
look wearable. Of course I'm talking about the Princess Peach
version.
And that was it for this week. Enjoy your games and enjoy the
weekend.
And as always
thanks for reading
